Guest ticket checkout, sizes filled in from a previous registration, and a searchable support library.
This release makes buying tickets and entering a large squad quicker. There is an illustrated
summary with screenshots on the What's New page.
You can buy admission tickets without a MeetMaker account
On a ticketed event, give your name, email address and phone number, confirm the email address with
a six-digit code, and check out. Your tickets are emailed to that address with a link that opens them
on a phone at the gate.
If you create an account later - at checkout, from the ticket page, or the normal way - the orders you
already placed as a guest are waiting for you in it. See
Buying tickets without creating an account.
Fill in clothing sizes from a previous registration
A Set Sizes button on the club registration screen fills each competitor's size in from their
most recent previous registration, instead of picking every size one dropdown at a time. Only sizes
this event actually offers are used. See Filling in sizes from a previous registration.
A refunded athlete can be entered again
Once a registration had been refunded, that athlete could not be entered into the same event again.
A refund now releases them properly, so a plan that changes back no longer needs a support call. The
refunded record is kept. See Registering again after a refund.
Sizes can now be locked by a deadline
Event directors can set a date after which sizes cannot be changed on an existing registration,
because they have to place the clothing order. Where a meet has one, the deadline is shown on the
event page and on My Events. See Changing a registration after you have paid.
The event page and the support library
Event pages have been rebuilt - two columns, status badges, and they read properly on a phone. The
Support page you are reading is now a searchable library split by whether you are running an event
or registering for one, rather than a flat list of links.
