What your gate staff need to know, including the tap that turns the sounds on.
Go to meetmaker.com/scan, enter the event scanning code and your name, then:
- Tap Click here to continue. This starts the camera and switches on the approved and declined sounds. On an iPhone or iPad the sounds will not play until you do this - Apple only allows sound that a person started by tapping.
- Allow camera access if the phone asks.
- Point the camera at the QR code. Scanning happens automatically - there is no button to press.
- A green flash and the approved sound means admit. A red flash and the declined sound means do not, and the reason is on screen.
Common declines: the ticket has already been used, scanning has not opened yet or has closed, or the code belongs to a different event.
Keep the page open between scans. If you close it or the phone locks, tap Click here to continue again.
