Support > Event Creator > Creating Your Event

Reuse an event you have already run instead of typing everything again.

On a new event, the Copy Existing Event box at the top lets you pick one of your previous events to copy.

What is listed:

  • Events belonging to your account, of the same event type you just chose. A Tickets event can also copy from a Meet, because ticketing is usually bolted onto a competition.
  • Events that started within the past 2 years. If you have none in that window, all of your matching events are listed instead so the list is never empty.

Copying brings across the event details, the competition levels and the purchasable items. It does not bring across registrations, and it does not touch the event you copied from.

Copying a meet into a Tickets event leaves the competition levels behind, because a ticket event has none. The purchasable items - which is what you were after - still come across.

Always review the dates, the age date on each level and the fees before saving - those are the things that change every season. Changing every level at once is the quickest way to move the fees.
